Cocktails & Conversations 2010
2010's "Cocktails and Conversations" event was held at the Summit Club on May 12. This exclusive event, as always, was professionally and personally inspiring to all who attend. During the night United Way provided attendees with Hors d'oeuvres and cocktails while members of two societies, YLS and the Tocqueville Society, had the opportunity to build friendly and professional relationships. The United Way Tocqueville Society is comprised of those professionals in the Midlands with a deep commitment to their community who make an annual pledge of $10,000. All members of YLS were invited to participate in spirited table discussions with these leading community members over topics such as the heroes that inspired them, how they got to where they are today, the biggest challenges they saw in the community, advice on how to avoid professional obstacles, and more.
