The United Way of the Midlands Young Leaders Society steering committee strives to provide YLS members and prospective members with events to attend that are valuable to community leaders. Professional development events provide an opportunity to enhance skills pertaining to various topics, social events that are not only a lot of fun, but also create an environment that stimulates business and personal networking, and finally, volunteer opportunities that allow participants to spend their time improving the lives of those in the Midlands who need it most.
